LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Friday, a Nov. 12 preliminary hearing was set for Alisa Ann Glagolis, 53, Beaver Falls, Pa., charged with receiving stolen property after she was allegedly found in possession of a 10-foot box truck reported stolen by Budget Rental in New Brighton, Pa.
Justin O. Smith, 29, West State Street, Salem, was fined $1,375, required 50 hours community service, had his license suspended for 12 months and sentenced to 20 days in jail for OVI second offense, open container, hit skip and two counts of driving under suspension. Citations for assured clear distance and marked lanes violation were dismissed.
William McMillan, 20, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for underage consumption.
An Oct. 31 pretrial was set for Sophia L. McNicol, 26, West State Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking Justin O. Smith in the head with a frying pan during an argument.
A Nov. 4 pretrial was set for Brian Buckley, 20, last known address Wood Street, East Palestine, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly running when police were called to a dispute he was reportedly involved in and hiding from police under a porch until the use of a taser was threatened.
