A Wellsville man with six previous convictions for drunken driving was charged again with OVI Sunday.

A highway patrol trooper reported seeing a vehicle go off Y&O Road twice around 8 p.m. He stopped the driver near state Route 267.

Donald A. Ross Jr., 53, Bolivar Road, Wellsville, reportedly admitted to having been drinking at a friend's and also to having taken Percocet.

The trooper reported finding a baggy of marijuana in Ross' jacket pocket. He charged Ross with marked lanes, no seat belt, open container, possession of marijuana and OVI, noting he had six prior OVI charges.

In East Liverpool Municipal Court on Monday, second arraignment for Ross was scheduled for Wednesday. Cash/surety bond was set at $50,000.
