CAMPBELL - A Rogers man is due in Campbell Municipal Court today on suspicion of manufacturing methamphetamine.
According to the newspaper's news partner, WKBN Channel 27, Jeremy T. Bowker, 30, was one of two people arrested Saturday during a traffic stop on Reed Avenue in this Mahoning County city.
During the stop, WKBN reported, a K-9 inspection led police to search the trunk and find the meth-related items.
Three police officers were taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons after being exposed to the chemicals, WKBN said, and hazmat units were called to contain the area.
Bowker and Jean A. Hertzell, 36, of Pittsburgh, were taken into custody.
Campbell referred to the vehicle as a mobile meth unit, WKBN said.
"(It is) referred to as the cold cook or one pot method of manufacturing meth," officer Ben Esposito told the television station. "We recovered several bottles that were actually in various stages of meth production."
