LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Floyd W. Brooks, 51, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, waived his right to an extradition hearing and he will be returned to the State of Pennsylvania for a citation of criminal conspiracy aiding in a burglary.

Russell D. Lightner, 34, Foundry Hill Road, Salineville, appeared for a restitution hearing on a misconduct at an emergency hearing charge, which stemmed from his lighting a trailer on fire and failing to cooperate with attempts by at least two fire departments to fight the blaze. He was credited with eight days served in the county jail, had the remaining 22 days suspended and $250 in fines. He was ordered to make restitution in the amount of $825 to Salineville and $435 to Franklin Township for the costs of the firefighters responding.

A Jan. 13 pretrial was set for Richard D. Rankin III, 18, Pueblo Lane, Columbiana, charged with two counts domestic violence for allegedly throwing his cell phone at his mother, going to the kitchen for a knife, which his father caused him to drop and then going into the kitchen for a handgun before a struggle for the handgun occurred with his father.

A Jan. 13 pretrial was set for Marra L. McFarland, 26, South Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, cited with possession of criminal tools and soliciting. According to court documents, McFarland offered to perform a sexual act with an undercover detective for $130 on Nov. 21, utilizing a cell phone to arrange the transaction.

Austin M. Sudol, 18, Homewood Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana paraphernalia.

Cory J. Miller, 24, Carter Road, New Waterford, was fined $75 for disorderly conduct amended from public intoxication in Lisbon.

Toby G. Blackburn, 25, New Garden Avenue, Salem, was fined $50 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension.

A driving under suspension citation against David C. Jones, 49, Salem Unity Road, Salem, was dismissed due to a Bureau of Motor Vehicles error.

A Dec. 23 pretrial was set for Stephen M. Houchins, 54, Lake Front Drive, Beloit, cited with OVI third offense and failure to control.

A Dec. 30 pretrial was set for Aleah A. Good, 21, Prospect Street, Salem, cited with obstructing official business and criminal trespassing for allegedly refusing to come out of a vacant house on Bank Street in Salem on Aug. 3, hiding in the attic with her boyfriend even after police sprayed pepper spray into the attic.

A Dec. 31 pretrial was set for Michael Dean Harbold II, 28, Blossburg, Pa., cited with physical control while intoxicated and license expired less than six months.

A Dec. 31 pretrial was set for Christopher L. Wyss, 29, Malvern, cited with lane violations.

A Jan. 9 pretrial was set for Hunter D. Mackall, 18, Carter Road, New Waterford, cited with driving under suspension and speeding.

A Jan. 9 pretrial was set for Dominic E. Florea, 18, Hartley Road, Alliance, cited with OVI first offense, failure to control and seat belt violation.

A Jan. 13 pretrial was set for Sebastian Bragg, 18, Southwood Avenue, Boardman, cited with possession of instruments to ingest or inhale a controlled substance.
