LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday, a Dec. 9 preliminary hearing was set for Marcus J. Jarvis, 19, West Main Street, Salineville, charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly pawning at Cashland in Salem on Aug. 16, a stolen Xbox he was given by Aaron Pierson. Bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.

A Dec. 9 preliminary hearing was set for Jonathan M. Weaver, 26, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, charged with domestic violence for allegedly getting into an argument with the mother of his children on Sunday about how to discipline their child, then punching her multiple times in the head, face and back area. Weaver reportedly has a previous domestic violence conviction in July and bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.

A Dec. 9 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Ashley D. Cox, 24, West Main Street, New Waterford, charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a spoon with white residue inside a woman's boot inside her vehicle on Nov. 3 and the residue tested positive for trace amounts of heroin.

A Dec. 9 extradition hearing was set for Stephen D. Hornsby, 23, Wetumpka, Ala., who is facing charges of two counts of theft of property and three counts of burglary.

A Dec. 9 preliminary hearing was set for Russell H. McHenry, 47, Francis Drive, Wellsville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly slapping his daughter in the face, brandishing a handgun after some family members stepped in and flipping a recliner back with his girlfriend in it while threatening her and holding her down. Bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Charles W. Gentry Jr., 39, Grant Street, Lisbon, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license.

Dale C. Milnes, 50, state Route 7, New Waterford, was fined $250 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension and expired registration.

Jason R. Wright, 40, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $200 and had his license suspended for 180 days for no headlights, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia for a scale in his possession on Nov. 23.

Anthony Paul Downing, 26, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under FRA suspension.

Billie D. Lockhart, 36, Goshen Road, Salem, was fined $250, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to 12 days in jail for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving under suspension. He was credited with 18 days served. Lockhart reportedly did not return a vehicle this summer to Robert McCullough two months after he borrowed it. A probable cause of a probation violation hearing will be set for a previous unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charge from 2012 also involving a vehicle owned by McCullough.

Brian A. Orin, 37, Kountz Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $80 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

A Dec. 5 pretrial was set for James E. McCullough, 52, Canton, charged with theft for allegedly pushing two televisions out of Walmart in Salem on Saturday without paying for them. The televisions were later recovered inside a vehicle he was riding in down the street from the store.

A Dec. 26 pretrial was set for Clint Lepowsky, 42, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, cited with right of way of public safety vehicles.

A Jan. 7 pretrial was set for Amanda S. Miller, 26, Canton, charged with theft for allegedly putting on a pink hoodie in the Salem Walmart on Saturday and walking out of the store.

A Jan. 7 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Joshua D. Pence, 24, Osborne Road, Wellsville, cited with a felony improper transportation of a weapon and misdemeanor charges of OVI first offense, open container, tail lights violation, seat belt violation and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle for allegedly having a loaded semi-automatic handgun in the center console of his vehicle during a traffic stop on Thursday.

A Jan. 9 pretrial was set for Edward J. Fabian, 53, Oyster Bay Drive, Salem, cited with speeding.

A Jan. 13 pretrial was set for Nicholas J. Cyphert, 20, East Euclid Avenue, Salem, cited with failure to control.

A Jan. 13 pretrial was set for Dennis P. Scullion, 62, Superior Avenue, Salem, cited with OVI first offense, lighted lights required and possession of instruments to ingest or inhale a controlled substance.

A Jan. 13 pretrial was set for Jozi L. Mauri, 22, North Market Street, Minerva, cited with OVI first offense and marked lanes.

A Jan. 13 pretrial was set for Vicki C. Rockhold, 51, Lucille Lane, Lisbon, cited with failure to control.

A Jan. 14 pretrial set for Michael E. McGee, 55, Canton, charged with theft for allegedly driving for two people, who were charged with allegedly shoplifting at Walmart on Saturday.

A Jan. 20 pretrial was set for Rachel M. Smith, 35, South Middle Street, Columbiana, charged with OVI first offense, driving under suspension and failure to control.

A Jan. 23 pretrial was set for Alexander Jim Douglas Kozma, 21, New Buffalo Road, Columbiana, cited with criminal trespassing for allegedly hiding inside one of the tractors at Phil's Tractor Sales in Columbiana on Nov. 26.

A Jan. 23 pretrial was set for Curtis E. McCowin, 33, East Martin Street, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense and improper backing.

A Jan. 23 pretrial was set for Debra Jean Burkey, 50, North Lima, cited with driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

A Jan. 23 pretrial was set for Kenneth R. McClelland, 28, East Summit Street, Alliance, cited with speeding.

An expired license plate citation against Jason Joseph Whalen, 31, Braddock, Pa., was dismissed with the defendant agreeing to pay costs.
