EAST LIVERPOOL Rosalie A. "Rose" Crumbacher, 89, formerly of Washingtonville died Thursday afternoon at the Calcutta Health Care Center, where she had resided for the past four years. Her loving family was at her side.
Born June 6, 1924, in Antwerpen, Belgium, she was raised in Nancy, France. She was a daughter of Raoul and Laurence Lasne, who preceded her in death. Her husband of 51 years, Howard "Dutch" Crumbacher, also preceded her in death.
A Jehovah Witness by faith, she attended the Columbiana Kingdom Hall for many years, as well as Glenmoor's Kingdom Hall.
She is survived by one daughter, Debbie May and her husband Don of Calcutta; two sons, Dan Crumbacher and his wife Sylvia of Poland and Jerry Crumbacher and his wife Linda of Woodstock, Ill.; along with a sister, Henriette Mitchell and her husband Nelson of Kissimmee, Fla.
A private graveside memorial celebration of her life will be conducted at a later date at Oakdale Cemetery in Leetonia, where her husband and mother are laid to rest.
