Quakers fly over Aviators

SALEM - The Salem girls basketball team found little trouble against Alliance as the Quakers held down the Aviators 56-27 victory in Northeastern Buckeye Conference action on Saturday.

The Quakers were led by Julia Dundon with 16 points, while Chloe Cheresne tallied 12.

The Aviators were led by Shania Mays with 11 points, followed by Katelyn Daniels with seven. The Aviators were held to single-digits in all four quarters.

Salem also won the junior varsity game 39-20. Kendra Richardson led the Quakers with 15 points.

The Quakers host Struthers on Monday.
