Quaker girls cave to Wildcats

SALEM - Struthers forced Salem into 21 turnovers as it ran away with a 53-20 victory on Monday in girls basketball action.

McKenna Shives led the Wildcats with 19 points and four steals. Ashley Ryan added eight points and nine boards, while Brittany Zupko had 10 points and 17 rebounds.

Tori Jones and Megan Lehwald had six points each for Salem, 2-7. The game was a part of a boy-girl varsity doubleheader.

Salem is at Marlington on Saturday.
