Poland woman pleads guilty to burglary in Wellsville home

LISBON - Jessica M. Jewell, 30, Poland, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to burglary amended from aggravated burglary. She faces up to eight years in prison and a $15,000 fine. Sentencing is set for March 13.

Court documents state on Sept. 13, Jewell was found in the basement of Joe DaLonzo, Commerce Street, Wellsville. She had a knife in her possession and had ransacked the basement. While packing several items to steal, Jewell had passed out and was discovered by 78-year-old DaLonzo, who was home at the time. He had called Wellsville police to report a possible dead body in a closet in his basement.
