January 31, 2014
Salem News

No injuries were reported after this southbound vehicle driven by 26-year-old James Drotleff of Salem struck a tree service truck stopped in the 1700 block of state Route 9 with its yellow emergency strobes activated at 7:39 a.m. Thursday. Perry Township Police Chief Mike Emigh said Drotleff's windshield was covered with frost, which was a contributing factor in the crash. Marks could be seen where he attempted to hit the brakes and avoid a collision. He was cited for assured clear distance ahead. (Photo courtesy of Perry Township Police)
