- Don Chambers, Yeager Drive, Lisbon, reported at 8:49 a.m. Tuesday there was an abandoned vehicle on Echo Valley Road. Deputies found the vehicle belonged to a neighbor, who had parked it in the driveway of a vacant lot.

- A stolen vehicle was reported to be located in the area of No. 16 School Road at 5:12 a.m. Monday. Deputies went into a hilly area to attempt to retrieve the vehicle, which reportedly was stolen from Tim Redmond, state Route 154, Lisbon. However, even while being transported by Humvee, deputies were unable to locate or reach the vehicle, which was in an area with steep hills and dense terrain.

- Jason Hayes, Adams Road, East Palestine, reported at 7:15 p.m. Monday his neighbor was playing his stereo excessively loud. Deputies contacted the neighbor, Tim Frederick, who declined to turn down the music because there is no sound ordinance in the township.

- Amy Catlett, Dobson Mills Road, Lisbon, reported at 7:16 p.m. Monday someone has been threatening her son from an out-of-state phone number. Deputies spoke to a man at the number, T.J. Simon, who said Catlett's son and another person have been spamming his cell phone. He began receiving thousands of text messages at one time. Simon told deputies the only threats made were for them to stop. Catlett's son and another person reportedly met Simon playing online computer games.

- Melissa Reckner, Givens Road, Lisbon, reported at 1:19 p.m. Sunday she heard an explosion. When they had come home from a basketball game, they saw Randy Reckner's truck at the bottom of the yard. At about 1 p.m., they heard a loud explosion, which shook the house and saw a cloud of smoke coming from the wood line. She saw Randy and Steven Reckner leaving in the truck. Deputies determined a beaver dam had been blown up using Tannerite. Deputies spoke to the property owner, Michael Crane, who said he gave permission for Randy Reckner to be there and destroy the dam. Deputies and the prosecutor's office are looking at the legality of the method used.

- Phillip Whitehead, Bayard Road, East Rochester, reported the Craftmatic Bed Co. had been calling claiming he won prizes and offering to send someone to his home to explain his winnings. He told the person he was not interested, but they reportedly responded by increasing the frequency of calls.

- Linda Seaman, state Route 558, Leetonia, reported at 4:10 p.m. Monday she received a letter from the IRS alerting her someone attempted to collect her Social Security. She had to make a report to local law enforcement to be issued new Social Security cards for her and her husband.

- Hugh Ward of JB Hunt Transport, Lowell, Ariz., reported at 10:16 a.m. Monday he parks his truck along state Route 7 south of Rogers and sometime over the weekend someone removed the pigtail, which connects the electrical system of the tractor to the trailer.
