SALINEVILLE - Robert E. Sheehan Sr., 75, of Salineville and formerly of Lisbon and Cleveland died suddenly Monday at East Liverpool City Hospital after becoming ill at home.
Born May 18, 1938 in Cleveland, he was a son of the late John J. and Dorothy M. (Goodwin) Sheehan.
He had worked as a park manager for the state of Ohio at Headlands Beach in Mentor and later at Beaver Creek State Park.He was a member of St. George Catholic Church and had served on Lisbon Village Council at one time.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Peggy (Tilden) Sheehan, children, Timi (Chris) Perry of Lisbon, Robert Sheehan Jr. of Salineville; two grandchildren; and a brother, Neal (Irene) Sheehan of Cleveland.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. James Lang at 11 a.m. Friday at St. George Catholic Church. Visitation will be held at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Weber Funeral Home.
