LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Jay Thomas Troyer, 20, Gavers Road, Hanoverton, was fined $675, had his license suspended for six months, sentenced to three days in jail or counseling and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense.

Laura M. Thornton, 29, Steubenville, was fined $450, had her license suspended for six months, credited with four days in jail while sentenced to 16 additional days and required 40 hours community service for attempted possession of marijuana and speeding.

Curtis A. Peeples, 33, last known address East Fifth Street, Salem, signed a waiver of extradition so he can be returned to Pennsylvania where he faces an alleged parole violation. He was also fined $60 for speeding and a seat belt violation.

Timothy G. McVay, 52, McGavern Road, Salineville, was fined $400, had his license suspended for six months and required 30 hours community service for left of center and reckless operation amended from OVI first offense.

Adam K. Zupancic, 21, Canfield, was fined $300 for light plate required and open container. A possession of marijuana citation was dismissed.

John W. Matheny, 33, Echo Valley Road, Wellsville, was fined $200, credited with one day in jail served and required 30 hours community service for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for taking the car of Melissa DeCara on Jan. 24.

James M. Brienzo, 40, Barberton, was fined $200 for driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

Nicole M. Linger, 19, Mineral Wells, W.Va., was fined $150, credited with 21 days served in jail and required 40 hours community service for theft. Linger placed two bottles of Ciroc Vodka - peach and cherry - in her purse and left Gene's Drive Through in Salem. The vodka is valued at $37 per bottle.

Brad E. Minerd, 42, High Street, Kensington, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Jennifer Miller Wright, 42, Haessly Road, Hanoverton, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Eric B. Davidson, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $30 for disorderly conduct for a fight in the area of Mullins and New Garden with a man Davidson had accused of stealing copper from a yard.

An open container in a motor vehicle citation against Jarred Chestnut, 22, Depot Road, Lisbon, was dismissed.

A March 6 pretrial was set for Dustin R. Foley, 34, East Main Street, East Palestine, cited with violating a temporary protection order for allegedly calling and texting Leslie Davis on Wednesday.

A March 18 pretrial was set for Eric S. Ward, 42, Fairway Road, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing and choking Tammy Ward on Feb. 2 at a Fairway Road, East Liverpool, address.

A March 25 pretrial was set for Jessica M. Jewell, 30, state Route 558, Leetonia, charged with resisting arrest for allegedly refusing to cooperate with Wellsville police attempting to take her out of a Commerce Street home she had been accused of breaking into on Sept. 13.

A March 25 pretrial was set for Katelin Rose Hurst, 22, Raley Road, New Waterford, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking her step-mother on Wednesday.

A March 25 pretrial was set for Thomas R. Norton, 24, Thomas Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly harming Dakota L. Gorichky by hitting her in the left side of the head twice on Wednesday.

A March 27 pretrial was set for Juan D. Stamps, 35, last known address East Taggart Street, East Palestine, charged with assault for allegedly holding down and beating on Danielle Gonzalez on Oct. 20, 2013.

A March 27 pretrial was set for Susan R. English, 45, state Route 45, Lisbon, cited with OVI first offense, failure to reinstate a license and failure to control following a crash on Wednesday.
