EAST PALESTINE- Sheila Ann Fox, 56, of Negley died on Thursday at Hospice House of Poland.
She was born on Dec. 25, 1957 in Rochester, Pa., a daughter of the late John N. Thomas and the late Mabel Irene Donaldson Thomas.
Sheila was a lifetime area resident and had worked as a medical secretary for Salem Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Kenneth Fox, whom she married on Nov. 18, 2000; two sons, James Earl Mitchell of New Springfield and William Earl Mitchell of Spirit Lake, Idaho; two daughters, Brandi Mitchell and Shannon Ohler, both of Columbiana; two step-sons, Kenneth Fox of Ohioville, Pa., and Christopher Fox of New Brighton, Pa.; two step-daughters, Kathi Young of New Brighton, Pa., and Nicole Smith of Recine, Pa.; three sisters, Cheryl Gonzales of Columbiana, Tammy Thomas of Cincinnati and Dixie Southall of New Waterford; and a brother, Roger Thomas of South Carolina. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home in East Palestine. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Brian Brown officiating. Burial will be at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
