LISBON - Ralph E. Burton, 77, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Hospice House.
Born January 13, 1937 in Wellsville, he was a son of the late Harry V. and Clara I. (Amman) Burton.
He had worked as a machinist for many years at NRM Corp. and retired from Mahoning Valley Manufacturing.
A U.S. Navy Veteran and 1955 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School, he was a member of St. Jacob United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his six children: Ralph (Teresa) Burton Jr. of Lisbon, Peggy (Thomas) Altenhof of East Rochester, Judy (Michael) Spencer of Lisbon, Bill (Angela) Burton of Hanoverton, John (Heather) Burton and Maggie Burton, both of Lisbon, 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Betty Cline of East Liverpool, Harry Burton of Shelby Township, Mich., and Barbara Howard of Salem.
There will be a funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Weber Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Jones officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Woodland Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
