March 22, 2014
Salem News

Two agents from the Columbiana County Drug Task Force search a vehicle in Salem Acres mid-Saturday afternoon that was used as a mobile meth lab. A can of Drano can be seen in the lower left along with various plastic bottles used to make methamphetamine. Perry Township police detained a man and a woman. The vehicle was in the back section of Salem Acres in the 1100 block of Prospect St., just outside the city limits. Residents in adjoining apartments were evacuated due to a chemical hazard. Perry Township firefighters stood by along with the sheriff's department and Salem police also responded to the scene. (Salem News photo by Larry Shields)
