Area runners invited to attend
community nutrition seminar

Kelsey F. Scanlon, M.S., an instructor of exercise science at the University of Mount Union, will explain the benefits of proper running nutrition, with an emphasis on the foods to include in base training meals and which foods will provide enough fuel on race day. "For a runner to meet their maximum potential, they must manage all aspects of their training. Running alone will not allow runners to run their fastest," said Eric O'Brien PT, MS, OCS, orthopedic and sports medicine coordinator.
"There are many variables to manage and one that is often overlooked and misunderstood is finding the proper nutrition plan to match the training regimen." For more information or a reservation call 330-596-7999.
