LISBON - A Lisbon woman accused of obstructing official business was found guilty during a court trial before Judge Carol Robb in Columbiana County Municipal Court on Wednesday.
Patricia Beil, 59, East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, was charged after she attempted to interfere with two sheriff's deputies investigating an incident in front of her home. According to court documents, deputies Brandon Hoppel and Luke Skidmore asked Beil to return to her porch several times, but she continued to claim they were on her property and refused to do so.
Beil was fined $300, but given the option to pay it by doing 30 hours community service. She was credited with one day served in jail.
