Columbiana Library hosting Farmer's Market Fair today
COLUMBIANA The Farmers Market Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the Columbiana Public Library.
The event offers free produce, giveaways and information.
Free dinner served today at First Brethren Church
NORTH GEORGETOWN - A free dinner will be served from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. today at the First Brethren Church, 27333 Main St.
This month's menu offers ranch chicken, potato, vegetable, beverage and dessert. Donations are accepted but not necessary.
UCT #590 hosting Easter egg hunt on April 19
SALEM - United Commercial Travelers #590 is hosting its annual Easter egg hunt for children ages 2 through 10 at 11 a.m. April 19 at Centennial Park. The event will be held "rain or shine."
The Easter Bunny will greet children and chocolate Easter bunnies will be awarded to children who find specially marked eggs.
The children at Robert Bycroft School will also be treated to an egg hunt at 1 p.m. April 17.
Easter Egg hunt planned April 13 at Realife Church
SALEM - Over 18,000 eggs will be up for grabs when the Easter egg hunt kicks off at 1 p.m. April 13 at Realife Church, 12824 Salem-Warren Road.

Storybook Museum will hold Easter party at City Center
SALEM - The Salem Storybook Museum will host its annual Easter party from 2 to 3:30 p.m. April 12 at Kent State University City Center, 230 N. Lincoln Ave.
Janis Yereb, museum curator, will instruct the children in making sock puppets. The children will also perform a brief show in the museum's puppet theater.
"Everyone loves puppets, they have been around for centuries. I think the children will enjoy this activity," said Yereb.
In keeping with the holiday, children will decorate Easter eggs.
Robert Viencek, fund-raising chairman, will demonstrate a food craft.
The museum director, Elizabeth Thatcher, will open the activities with storytelling. "The Easter event is one of our most popular parties for the children, plus refreshments will be served," said Thatcher.

Getting Crafty class will create colorful flowers on April 14
SALEM - The Getting Crafty class will use felt to create colorful flowers at 6:30 p.m. April 14 a the Salem Public Library. All materials will be provided free of cost.

SCC offering lifeguard training course April 14-25
SALEM - The Salem Community Center is offering a lifeguard training course from April 14-25. Classes will run weeknights from 5 to 8. Cost is $220 for members and $260 for non-members.
Upon completion participants will receive lifeguard training, first aid and professional rescuer certifications. To register call 330-332-5885.
Salem Saxon Club's Lenten fish fries continue today
SALEM - The Salem Saxon Club at 1980 Newgarden Road will host its fourth of six annual Lenten public fish fries from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
Dinners include a choice of baked or fried ocean cod, or breaded pork chops, scalloped potatoes, green beans, applesauce or cole slaw, homemade cake, coffee, tea, iced tea or punch.
Cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for under 6. Carryouts are available by calling 330-222-1770 after 4:30 p.m.
ACH Auxiliary will be selling Anastasiades Chocolates
ALLIANCE - The Alliance Community Hospital Auxiliary will sell Anastasiades Exclusive Chocolates from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 2 in the hospital cafe.
Proceeds will benefit the auxiliary which raises funds for special needs for the hospital, gives three annual scholarships, and pays the salary of the shuttle vehicle driver.
