NEWTON FALLS - Louis "Bob" R. Danch, 61, of Newton Falls, formerly of Petersburg and Berlin Center, died Wednesday evening at his residence following a battle with melanoma.
Born June 7, 1952, in Youngstown, he was the son of Margaret (Best) Danch and the late Louis Danch.
Mr. Danch graduated from East Palestine High School in 1970 and from the General Motors Engineering and Management Institute in 1975, receiving a bachelor's degree in industrial administration. He worked for General Motors as a material manager for 43 years.
In addition to his mother, he leaves his wife, Denise (Burnett) Danch, whom he married on Jan. 5, 1998; his children, Rob (Kim) Danch of Berlin Center, Dan Danch of Austintown, Melissa Testa of Warren and Matt Testa of Chicago.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 until the time of services at 10 a.m. Monday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown.
