NEGELY - John H. Bash Jr., of Negely, formerly of Beaver Falls, Pa., died Sunday at Heritage Valley Hospital in Beaver, Pa.
He was born Dec. 16, 1931 in Beaver Falls, the son of the late John H. and Lillian Small Bash Sr.
He retired in 1987 from Babcock and Wilcox Steel, where he was an inspector. He had other professions throughout his life, including as a deputy sheriff for Beaver County and operating an automotive repair business in Unity, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his first wife June Simpson Bash; a son, John James Bash; and a daughter, Carol "Kissie" Bash.
Surviving are his wife of almost 40 years, Mary G. Doty Donnalley Bash of Negley; three sons, Richard Bash of Leetonia, Jeffery (Tami ) Bash of Salem and Ronald (Sherry) Bash of Perkinston, Miss.; three daughters; Marcella Bash and Frances Hupp, both of Beaver Falls, and Lori Douthitt of Rochester, Pa.; and four stepsons, Harold (Donna) Donnelley of Columbiana, Gary (Chau) Donnelly of California, Robert Donnelly, and Thomas (Wendy) Donnelly of Leetonia; 27 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A private service will be held as he requested. Arrangements were with the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, East Palestine.
