EAST PALESTINE - Terry Lee Hylton, 67 of East Rebecca Street, died at 6:11 a.m. Thursday after becoming ill at home.
He was born Sept. 25, 1946, a son of Jeanie Pritchard Hylton and the late William Hylton. He had lived in East Palestine since 1970 and had at one time been employed with Ergon, later as a custodian for the East Palestine City School District, and most recently as a mechanic for Brittain Motors.
Besides his mother, Jeanie Hylton of Akron, he is survived by his wife, Norma Hylton; a brother, Paul Hylton of Akron; four children, Robert (Robin) Carr of Struthers, John Carr of New Waterford, Sherri (John) Perkins of East Palestine and Kristina Hylton and son-in-law to be, Sergio Ortiz of East Palestine; as well as five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Gerry Hopson.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 19th, at the East Palestine Church of the Nazarene. Arrangements were with the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home.
