- Westville Sunoco, Westville Lake Road, Beloit, reported an accident with injuries at 12:16 p.m. Tuesday. Carl Hurford, 73, Ellett, Beloit, told deputies he was pulling into the handicapped parking spot and his foot slipped off the brake onto the gas. The 2013 Cadillac jumped the curb and struck the front doors of the station. Marilyn Estock, 50, Louisville, was entering the store and was struck in the back of her right leg, pinning her briefly against the door. Hurford quickly put the car in reverse and released her leg. Beloit EMS transported Estock to Alliance Community Hospital to be checked as a precaution. The front entrance of the store was damaged and there was minor damage to Hurford's vehicle.
