Western Reserve High School recognizes outstanding academic achievements

Twenty-nine Western Reserve High School students were recognized for outstanding academic achievement recently at A La Carte Catering. The Academic Banquet, sponsored by the Berlin-Ellsworth Ruritan, honored 20 seniors having a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Nine juniors and sophomores were recognized for having a cumulative grade point average of 4.0. Each of the seniors invited a special guest to speak on their behalf as part of the evening's festivities. Along with parents and family of the students, the banquet was attended by school administrators, school board members and Ruritan members.
