Candice Welsh of Lisbon reported at 8:50 a.m. Thursday her children were left alone by her ex at a West Salem Street home.
- A man reported at 6:55 p.m. Thursday a woman was standing on the sidewalk on South Main Street near Union Street with her pants half down but she was wearing shorts underneath them. At 9:49 p.m. someone reported a woman was in the middle of Union Street. Police found it was the same woman who was walking to her home.
Police went to the park at 8:36 p.m. Thursday after someone reported a man driving a blue Taurus dumped beer into a pop can around Funland. Police did not find the vehicle.
- Leigh Hartline, manager of the Valley View gas station, North Market Street, reported at 6:24 p.m. Saturday that Timothy M. Wamsley Jr., 31, Etruria Street, East Liverpool, purchased a few items except for a bottle of vodka, which he reportedly stuffed down his shorts and left. Later that night, Christy Schner, North Beaver Street, reported Wamsley took the vodka after finding it when she got home. He denied going to the gas station and stealing the vodka, but he reportedly smelled of alcohol and had trouble walking and standing still. An officer recovered the bottle of vodka in question, and observed Wamsley stuffing the vodka in his shorts on surveillance video. Wamsley was cited for theft.
