- Renee Snyder, state Route 14, East Palestine, reported a burglary at 3:16 p.m. Saturday, but deputies were unable to contact anyone at the home later that day. On Wednesday, Barbara Smith of Youngstown called deputies to say she has the power of attorney for her brother and Snyder has been living in his home, but is supposed to be moving out. Smith was concerned because Snyder took not only her things but some of Smith's brother's things too. The new landlord also had told Smith that both Snyder and a man were there taking tools on Wednesday even though the house has been secured. Later on Wednesday, Dennis Dotson called deputies to report he has been helping Snyder move her belongings out and the new landlord had screwed boards over the doors and windows to keep them out. He also claimed Snyder has an agreement with Smith's brother allowing her to take whatever she wants.
