LISBON - Thomas O. Dickey, 79, of Lisbon, died at 6:10 p.m. Monday at Salem Regional Medical Center.
He was born on Sept. 23, 1934, in Salem, the son of the late James and Ruth (Duncan) Dickey.
Mr. Dickey was a highlift operator at Eljers Mfg. in Salem for 42 years.
Survivors include his children, Joseph Dickey of Salem, Debbie (Art) Barnes of North Benton, and Charles (Kay) Dickey of Salem, siblings, James Dickey of Akron, Frank Dickey of Malvern and Mary Mook of Pennsylvania, nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and his caregiver and companion Bessie Ellen (Dickey) Baronzzi of Lisbon.
He was preceded in death by a son Thomas Dickey.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services in Salem.
A time of visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
