I am retired from the railroad after 33 years . We started Paying into our healthcare in the 90's . The railroad is a for profit businsess unlike government workers that rely on taxpayer funding. In these lean times it is only right and fair for government workers to give something up. Let me say this ...By the unions not wanting to negotiate and snubbing Kasich If SB5 fails at the polls Kasich may tell the unions to pound salt and I dont blame him.

Dog,I see your points.I'm frustrated with the whole system.Unions got to big for their britches. But the companys they bargined with agreed to the contracts.Unions have lost their way.We the people need to demand change.Take money in campains and lobyists out of the picture.Only then will we get a true Gov.of the people.

Here is an idea. Forget about sb5. Adhere to a balanced budget. Without further borrowing from the broke fed govt.to pay public employees. There won't be many left working to worry about. It will happen one way or another. We can't continue the ponzi scheme with all these public sector people.

EATTHERICH accept your response. Here is the question I have for your response. You don't want see anybody dictating or controlling a special interest group defined as Union power and rule, so why do you have a problem with a special interest called tea party power and rule? I hope you understood that question. Because the point I am making is simple. Solution, not indifferance. We have to many doors opened up. The reality...this country is so divided because of it. Remember the old saying? United we stand, divided we fall? We better do something to change this and fast. Now do understand my "TALK" response. We can't keep this pace up before we break.

Guess the Tea Party shouldn't have gone after cutting so gung ho.That's why my response was such.I do agree with you about all the BS.Maybe the tea baggers should have tried to comprise firts, instead of ramming their agends through.

I BIG TIME DISAGREE...eattherich in fact i am surprised by our comment, that isn't you. TALK! SOLUTIONS PEOPLE, not INDIFFERENCE. That is what is wrong with this country today because we don't do that. You mean to tell me that a workable solution between both (shared sacrifice) for the good of a common goal shouldn't happen. I am sick of this. Why do you think this country is in the shape it is in now? We have a divided congress of power instead of progress in place now. There is no goal to common good of the whole any longer. Keep destroying this country, it seems that is the only thing we are good at today.

It's the very reason that we've worked for numerous decades so that our children & grandchildren don't have to do that kind of work! SB5 removes the American dream! But we will be taunted on a continuos basis by TV and radio advertising about the American dream but SB5 says you, your children and grandchildren must stay in your place!!! You can never ever have the American dream! You kind of people can not have it; not now;not ever!!! The only thing they want you to have is the torture of seeing it on TV and hearing the propaganda on the radio!!! After all of that hard work studying into the wee hours of each and every night in order to get that scholarship!!! After paying back a temendous amount of money for your student loans!!! After all of that studing into wee hours of the night to get updated!!! Getting injured and /or killed in the line of duty to save lives and make American families alot safer and comfortable!!!
