Ohio says some road projects may postponed nearly 20 years due to lack of funds. Is it time for an overhaul of funding?

We also need to examine the ratio of tax payers to non-tax payers in Ohio. Those that do not have incomes do not pay income taxes. I suggest we start taking away the incentives to remain unemployed and those that still refuse to support themselves will have to move on to greener pastures (i.e., other states). We would then see a reduction in demand for various government services.

I agree that we first need to shrink government to what it's needs to be and they put together a sound budget with roads a line item. Our roads are taking second fiddle to far too many pet projects that are not necessary!

WE don't need an overhaul of funding we need an overhaul of government. Government is not doing what it is suppose to do because all our tax money is going to fund a government that has over steped it's bounds. We need a reduction of government at all levels. IF this were to happen there will be plenty of money to spend on the health, safty and welfare of the citizens of this country.
