Should the best public school teachers be paid more?
Absolutely, unfortunately it will never happen. The unions sealed that fate. Remember SB5. The very same legislation that would have applied merit standings in this circumstance and would have helped to get rid the bad teachers opening the doors to the brightest and talented. Amazing how the best teachers in the world are dragged under by their very own unions.

The elected ones are reviewed, every election.
As usual, you want to protect the bad and the worthless, as a good union hack should.
You know, if unions are SO great, People would be jamming the doors trying to register. But they're not.
This is because, unlike you, most Americans realize that a union is an anchor around the neck of a business.
7% of private-sector workers are unionized. 'Nuff said.
I said across the board,
Has alot to do with it.Lets evaluate everyone

It already is, bug. It's called voting them out of office.
What's that got to do with this topic anyway?
Fine ! As long as we apply this principle across the board,
Starting with our elected officials.

Bad teachers are so detrimental to students and seem to stay on the job forever. Excellence should definately be rewarded. And no one can tell me that those who decide can't tell the difference. They just choose to look the other way.

Excellence SHOULD be rewarded.
On the other hand, crummy teachers should be demoted or fired.
