Noticed that Romney did not attend. First losing candidate not to attend an inauguration since 1989. He really is a loser!

I wouldn't miss it!!! The Democrats sure know how to celebrate victory. The Republicans hate America so much that they had sour grapes all over their faces.

No, and the fact that it's this huge celebration should be an embarrassment to every citizen of this country. If you don't understand why, then you're the problem.

Why don't you explain it. This is nothing and maybe gives some americans something to feel good about,Instead of all the constant doom and gloom from the news media.

Yes I did watch the inauguration. It's a traditional timeless treasure of our Democracy. It is a time for all Americans to celebrate a piece of history that makes our country the greatest country on earth! I may not be happy with the man reciting that oath of office and displeased with his feckless policies but I won't disrespect the historical and honored tradition.

Watching our President sworn into office is truly remarkable and a privilege and honor to know that we are all part of that process.

However, I did lose a great deal of respect even further for our National news media. I was deeply saddened that Democrats of this country booed Ryan, our Vice Presidential nominee with such utter disrespect and then the media quickly pounced on the Romney absence. The liberal news media could not even refrain for one day. I was happy Romney chose not to attend. His appearance as a private citizen standing in a crowd would be have been a circus event for the media.

Naturwoman states: "Noticed that Romney did not attend. First losing candidate not to attend an inauguration since 1989. He really is a loser!"

That has to be about the most pathetic statement I have ever seen. Tell me something naturwoman did you disrespect your Democrat Michael Dukakis, presidential nominee this badly when he failed to attend President elect George Bush's inauguration in 1989? Did you call him a loser too?

GrantMingus I agree with you if it is in respect to the fact that this historical event has grown to a 176 million dollar tax burden, one as this that comes on the heels of this very same President bad mouthing the rich, dangling us on a fiscal cliff, hammering us with demands that WE ALL should be playing a huge roll in eliminating the crushing debt and spending so much so that we were slapped with tax hikes and a Pelosi promise that more tax hikes are to come! Yes, I would agree except with the exception, it is not an embarrassment it it is a slap in the faces of the American taxpayers to be handled that debt to repay.

I am a proud republican, but people, you better get to the center of the aisle and start reining in your own party leaders before it is too late for our beloved country.

FACT We have a failing two party system in America. We do not have parties of progress, we have parties of power. We all had better wake up and quickly.

I received an email that said, "Obama supporters are beginning to gather for the inauguration."

Then when I scrolled down I saw a photo of a heard of sheep all facing in the direction of the photographer.

Anyone else get that?...Absolutely hilarious!
