Wow, people are choosing d. That is pretty much a good sign of the times. A country in turmoil always starts to over shadow even the traditional values and the things that Americans love and what always made it great about living in America.
I admit I almost clicked that one too. But you know what? I am going to choose c. I'm not much of a football fan, but hubby is. I'm going to pop some appetizers into the oven and I going look forward to curling up on the couch beside him. Then I am going to intentionally choose the opposite team my husband wants to see win and let "both" games begin! LOL
If only for a few hours on Super Bowl Sunday, I going to put out of mind the politics and issues that are squeezing us with concerns and worries about the path our beloved country is on. Then I am going to close my eyes for the just a few moments and thank the big guy upstairs for my blessings and the wonderful man sitting next to me!

I met Loretta Lynn while at sea in 1982. She came on board to do a concert for us, 600 squids and 1200 Marines. The hangar deck was a bit crowded.
I got a picture with her, an autograph, and she let me plant one on her cheek. She signed pictures for people until there was no one left. A classy lady.
Brooke Shields, on the other hand, signed about a hundred, said her wrist hurt, and we never saw her again.
My favorite is a picture with Charlton Heston (dude, we need you now!). We were the same height in the picture, but I was standing on an 8" deck hatch. He was TALL, and very gracious.
Others: Wayne Newton (way better than I thought), Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders (Yum!), and the Bob Hope Christmas Special, I think the 1982 one. THAT was the best of all.

What beautiful sentiments. I am not a football fan nor is my husband. However, with your imagery, I am a bit sad that I am not.

I wish you would have the "care less" option more often LOL (especially on sports questions)

notSocialist. Cool Story. I worked with Mel Tillis & his band back in the 80s in Cheyenne or Laramie. Can't remember. Very nice group of men.
