Not enough evidence to convict.

Of course we were not in the courtroom but if you believe the news people, he will be found not guilty. The proof is on the State and it seems they didn't have enough evidence to convict...but imagine if Zimmerman had just walked or drove away after reporting it to the police. I'm not at all taking sides but makes me wonder.

It will be interesting to see if the rioting that will follow a not guilty verdict for Zimmerman will be as intense as the rioting that followed the not guilty verdicts of the LAPD officers involved in the Rodney King incident.

The media has referred to Zimmerman as being a "white Hispanic" on numerous occasions, but I have yet to hear the media make one reference to Obama as being a "white African American". It seems to follow the same logic pattern.

No rioting if not convicted, but sometime in his life he may hear a pop. Stun gun would have worked well.

I think the only reason Zimmerman followed him is he had a gum. Sounds like he could not fight. Something that should not had to happen. Bad deal for everyone.

the way the classification system is set up, and has been for numerous years..not by the media but by the government..is a choice between either "white hispanic" or "non white hispanic" not that i am holding the media blameless, but that's how he reports himself.

we can now have judge jury and executioner in our own selves. no need for law or trials anymore. someone looks guilty, follow them. if they get ****** off and call you out, shoot em.

Zimmerman didn't use his weapon because Martin 'looked guilty'. He used his weapon because he was having his head bounced off the concrete. Ever hear of someone dying of a cracked skull and brain damage? By law, if you are in fear for your life, you may use deadly force.

Unless you are trying to say someone that is unarmed can't kill.

have to agree with nonsocialist on this one. We live in a relatively crime free area but as a former long term Florida resident I can tell you that crime is rampant there. If you understood their problems you might too carry a gun on crime watch. I think this was a perfect storm with both men at fault. The media is certainly to blame for fueling the race issue by posting photos of a young sweet Trayvon not based on reality. No matter what happened that night there is not enough evidence to convict.

sunshine72 your imaginary scenario isn't even close to what happened in this case.

But since you boldly made the statement. Want to ask you a honest question.

From the point this incident started. Until the exact moment either Martin or Zimmerman physically touched one or the other...what LAW did Zimmerman or Martin for that matter, break? Think about it.

what if martin was "standing his ground" he was being followed by a man with a gun.i think he had every right to beat zimmerman's hiney. can we follow whomever we want just looking for trouble now?

Wow what a statement! From what I understand Martin and Zimmerman were in wet grass, if you know anything about electricity it would be apparent that zapping the guy on top of you while laying in water or wet grass is going to cause the same charge you hit him with will find earth ground via you own body disabling you as well.

Same idea on the pepper spray, they were only inches apart with Martin on top. Putting pepper spray in Martin's face would would be nearly as bad as spraying the stuff in his own face.

Based on the evidence that the jury has seen he should not be convicted. But based on the pressure that his been exerted from external forces to charge this guy and bring him to trial, no doubt he will be convicted.

Sorry, I didn't realize the government could give out a specific person's census info to the media.

He had NO right to use physical force for being 'followed around'.

sunshine sez: "what if martin was "standing his ground" he was being followed by a man with a gun."

Really? Then you just made the prosecution unhappy campers. Because they are contending Martin didn't know Zimmerman had a gun. Ooops.

Now, If Martin was a smart****and he KNEW Zim had a gun, then guess what? That meant ole Martin was cocky and an idiot because he opened the door for his own death with his own arrogant aggression and the DEFENSE appreciates your support.
