"McConnell and Paul also agreed that ObamaCare seems likely to leave 25 to 30 million people uninsured, which means the law will not solve even half of the problem that Democrats said it would."
So what's the point, then?

I never understood my health care program before Obamacare. All I know is that I hand the nice lady behind the window my provider card and then I get correspondence stating what was covered and what wasn't. My current provider that I picked up five years ago has everything relating to my policy online. I tried to read it one night and fell asleep. At least they cure insomnia for the price of the policy!

You know how John Kerry's comment about Syria giving up it's chemical weapons gave Obama an "out" on bombing Syria. Too bad Biden or a Clinton can't make some kind of comment to give him an out on Obamacare. I'm afraid the republicans are just making him dig in his heels.

" Lets see $ 173000/yr div. by 52 = $3326/wk div. by 40 =$85/hr.
$ 85 x 22 hr= $1870 x 100 senators =$ 187000 worth of Bs "
Yup, six figure incomes, and Obama says we have to subsidize their health care. How do you like that, bug?

Okay, so what are you disagreeing about? The use of the word tentacles? I could have said grasping claws attempting to overpower and overtake more and more. I thought the picture of tentacles reaching into all kinds of areas was pretty good tho.

NOT a comment on Obamacare, just on his tentacles reaching for more regulation and control: Reuters News today: "The Obama administration on Tuesday defended its effort to regulate the tax return preparation business for the first time in U.S. history...the administration sees the "Horse Act of 1884" as providing ample authority for the U.S. Internal Revenue Service to regulate the tens of thousands of preparers who fill out millions of Americans' federal tax returns." "The IRS is arguing that tax return preparers represent their customers...so the agency should be able to expand regulation to include preparers"

Well of course we know how Obummercare works? In fact, it is working quite well. It has been very effective in creating politics, power and divide! Hail Congress! It's NEVER been about us or our healthcare, never has been nor will it ever be. Welcome to the reality of the New America. Just more of the same from the circus on the hill, telling the American people...sit down, shut up and PAY UP.

It basically is a private co.
The only problem it has to deliver and provide services the others won't do because it's un profitable
Congress made the problem at the post office making them pay into a retirement program that is crazy. The Post office makes money every year but must pay a crazy amount into the fund. I think the lawmakers want to make it a private company like ups and FedEx and make pocket money for themselves.

Start the whole process over again in 1.5 months.
Also post office talking raising postage 3 cents since congress couldn't find time to work on changes to help post office money

And, if you really want a scare...call an actuary and ask him or her. This last I heard is that HHS has thousands upon thousands of pages of additional regulations and directives which have been added to or have modified the law. The computers cannot even figure it out.
The affordable part of the law is well gone and the lies are mounting. It has become a free for all for HHS. And, politics is what got us this terrible law so how do you put politics aside?
Anyone who designed and/or voted for this "thing" should be sent to jail.
I don't think anyone has an idea how it is to work. How could they. Like Grant said 30,000 pages now. It is like anything else the government does everything is just layer after layer of red tape. One thing is for sure. It is going to cost those that are supporting it big bucks, they just don't realize it yet. Medical care providers will be limited in what they can charge, which will drive some out of business. It will cause private insurance carriers to raise their rates so high that people will not be able to afford it which will lead to 100% government run health care. Which I have a hunch was the design of the whole thing to start with.
Yes, take from rich and give to the poor! And " WATCH OUT "
Yes. Price fixing and price shifting. It's a soviet style law. No one knows all the details , I believe it's longer than 30,000 pages now.
