The reason not to watch is because we won't hear...

That he hears us. We aren’t stupid, & we see that ObamaCare isn’t working, the workforce is shrinking, & things aren’t as good as he tries to make them seem. It’s really obvious, because, well…facts.

Our best interests don't involve raising taxes, kicking people off of their insurance, spying on us, letting gun-walking operations run amok, or allowing poor leadership to result in the deaths of American diplomats.

Even though he makes his political enemies out as racists & haters of the poor, they’re not, & we know they’re not. We hope that he can wake up & realize that there are people who disagree with him who represent a portion of America, & he's supposed to represent everyone.

Unfortunately, after 5 years of hearing the same excuses for our nation’s problems, we won’t be setting our expectations very high.

What was the poll on congress yesterday.91% give them a poor rating.

Enough said. One person can't be held responsible for the failings of the last 5yrs. When there's 535 other voices involved.

But again this is the reason our country will continue to fail even after the elections in 2014 and 2016.

Getting re-elected ,letting the people vote being taken over by well to do and special interest groups.

Latest research say over 90% of those running for office will be re-elected by the same whiners who call for a change. Blah Blah Blah

And of course the same issues I mention over and over never seem to get addressed.

But we seem to continue on with the blame game from both sides and claim they all want to work together Ha Ha

Wait, wait--according to the morning news (and my husband) Obama is going to announce he is increasing the federal minimum wage to $10 something (and would like states to follow suit). This is major!

Also according to my husband, Ohio was mentioned on the news--since volunteer work is now necessary to get food stamps, 60% are no longer getting food stamps. (Can that possibly be right??)

Yep, quite a mess...

On the eve of President Obama’s State of the Union Address, a new poll from Washington Post-ABC News shows that fully 63 percent of Americans have either little to no confidence Obama will make the right decisions. And with congress getting such low grades...yep, quite a mess!

9% is something to be proud of.

The republicans made up their mind from the get go to make sure Obama failed even at the cost to the rest of us.

The secret meeting held o n the night of his 1st.innocuration was proof of that

Even little kids will set down and compromise. Not that bunch.

Come on ladybug, that republican congressman is a grade A jerk (and an idiot for thinking it was smart to say that).

But I don't know how to take #s like 60% haven't gotten food stamps when they had to work for them. Did they really not need them to start with? Are they unable to find childcare/transportation so they can't do the work? (And honestly, I believe there are people in both situations.)

And I do want to know, as a person who pushes for higher wages, do you really think a $10.+ minimum wage is good across the board?

I'm afraid some will say the extra business they get with more employees isn't worth the extra paid out and will cut jobs.

Now Supposedly most the people on food stamps are elderly or people working and don't make enough to cover exspences.

statistic, Since the 1980's the poorest has seen their income decline 20 % Middle Class has seen the avg drop from $56000 + to $ 51000 after inflation

The middle class made up over 50% of the population in 1970 Now it is less than 40%

Can't seem to figure out why the poverty +'s and wel-fare keeps going up

Well according to some staistics somewhere .Raising the minimum wage actually increased buss.

simply because people had extra money to spend.

Which is how I thought the so called capitalistic system worked . The more extra income one has the more they will go and spend .

Another statistic.

In the 1980's everyone used to see their incomes rise,

But now it seems to only the top 5% .

Which increased 31% from 2009 to 2012
