Well that's some tricky wording there. Needed? perhaps not. would a commercial indoor range be successful? probably. if properly designed, built, and permitted should a citizen be allowed to have one in their basement for recreation? I think so.

I thought the "need and control" game that hinders economic growth in Salem was behind us. Apparently not.

We already know that private agenda of "need and control" has decimated our Industrial growth in Salem.

I really wonder when this is going to end so Salem can move forward?

I don't what to hear what we need? I want to hear what we can do to get this new potential business owner up and running and successfully generating revenues into the City of Salem coffers. I don't care if another business comes into Salem to start another commercial shooting range. It drives the competitive edge.

I don't care if another restaurant, bar, movie theater, hotel, casino, night club, fast food chain, hospital, clothes store wants to build up and open in Salem. Move the economic growth and stop hindering Salem's growth.

This unfriendly business environment has to stop.

I'm curious to know if those voting "No" on the question are gun owners who feel there are a sufficient number of ranges nearby and another one is not needed, or are they non-gun owners that seek to exert some level of control over gun owners by keeping range access limited.

rpmwwe, probably both and a mixture of those that can't offer anything as to why they are against it and they have the privilege of saying no.
