"Will you be attending the Salem Super Cruise this weekend?"
No, but I'll be attending... er.. working the Salem Cup today.

...grow up, it is getting old.
As for outlaw, I was you, I would apologize for insinuating he is "pathetic" for not attending the Salem Cruise.
Just for the record, you already blew it and that response you whipped out to outlaw was only your attempt to save face and everybody knows it.
Everybody in this city whether they go or don't go, contribute to this event to make it successful. Including you idiot. Now shut up and make the apology. Be a decent man for a change.
Grant you are like a whiny little two year old and I know two year old children that behave better than you.
You know Grant if you would spend less time making this a word challenge game with everybody with that "I am smarter than all of you idiots living in Salem, you would not keep making these dreadful stupid mistakes that make which makes you look like a "Donkey"! LOL
First, where did I say "SUPER NATS"? Second, if you do not comprehend and know how taxes benefit the city for these types of events? Here, let me use your words, you are so persistent to whip out all the time, "terrifying an you need to be institutionalized".
Grant, dear, little boy, do you think our police officers and the city workers "volunteer" their time and efforts for the Salem Cruise? All the preparations the city must do to prepare for this event from start to even after it ends? Seriously? You don't understand that?
Take that beer box off your head and g
He's funding the Super Nats huh? I want to hear you talk your way out of that statement.
And what is wrong with saying good for you? That isn't a sarcastic statement, there was nothing but respect in those words.

Beaumont, outlaw, will actually probably pay more in taxes to the city with those doubles he unfortunately has to work and the city will benefit from this guys commitment to his family and bills instead of the cruise.
Things that Grant forgets about. I am not going to tell outlaw "good for you", I am giving him my sympathy because it sad that a crap economy has nailed a lot of people and they sure in the heck would like to be at the cruise with their families instead of having to work.
Reality, outlaw is funding Grant's "big event of the year" for Grant to enjoy it whether outlaw is there or not.
"People can't afford to walk downtown? Now I've heard it all." Is that all you got out of WatchDogs post?
Good post WatchDog.

"But nearly 6 in 10 people don't want to attend the biggest event of the year. Doesn't add up."
That's because you compare and view your personal tastes and life style and schedule to how you perceive it and you think everybody else should. Grant, not everybody is a car enthusiast, not everyone can afford to go to the cruise, not everyone has the same music tastes, not everyone can adjust the life's schedules to accommodate a city event because they hold it on a specific date and time. People have life commitments and that doesn't make them against the "biggest event of the year". That doesn't make these people pathetic.
Cut the people some slack Grant. That is how you get into trouble all the time when you make these types of snippy comments. If you are going to the cruise consider yourself more fortunate than others and enjoy it. But don't snarl at people because they can't for whatever reason they personally choose to go or don't. Be nice Grant.

Don't like fair food?? Q, that's un-American! :)
Working until Sunday, but also don't really love cars or crowds or noise or heat or difficulty driving or fair food or drinking. Will probably watch the World Cup in a quiet air conditioned room instead. (And I know, that almost makes me unAmerican--sorry such a girl.)
They don't love cars?
If you have to work, it's not pathetic. Good for you. The reason it's pathetic for most people is, if you poll the people on whether or not there is enough to do for fun in Salem, you get no 9 to 1. But nearly 6 in 10 people don't want to attend the biggest event of the year. Doesn't add up.

guess i'm pathetic like the rest, i'm not going, have to work and pull doubles. the roof over the head and bills come first. maybe next year
Will be out of town this year, but have never been to it. Just not my thing.
What's that yapping sound??
