"This Russian roulette..."

Aren't the Russians also the ones who invented the "scorched earth" defense strategy? (If not invented, then certainly credited for it.)

Obama likes to pass himself off as some kind of scholar but it becomes more obvious every day that history wasn't part of his curriculum. If it was then he would be able to understand, and anticipate, the Russians' resolve.

"Bill Clinton was president in 1994. I kinda wonder how he'd weigh in on what our responsibility/involvement should be. I honestly wonder."

Q, we will know as soon as Hillary announces her presidential bid. When suddenly, "everything" Obama is doing is wrong wrong wrong. You know how it works, hate and destroy until the primary is over, then love and kiss butt during the time frame he is president, then close to new election time, back to hate and destroy. Then we will know Bill's opinion. LOL

"43 JOBS bills are among 356 bills the House passed and are sitting on Reid’s desk"

Ladybug, the numbers do not lie and every bill is posted on Congress official website. The bills and the numbers and the process of each bill is THERE for you to VIEW. Do you EVER go to that offical website for both SIDES?

The numbers don't lie.

Stuck around? What? Are you trying to insinuate that Obama could have taken a five week recess with Congress but didn't? Seriously? That is your Obama defense strategy? LOL

"there is a glut of chicken, the price should drop."

Not according to the stock market. They are looking at this as a loss. Those in the chicken industry see at as a loss of sales and the profits lost will have to be made up.

Ladybug sez: "Oh that's right the house ignored the bill passed by the senate in june 2013 ."

What bill did the Senate pass that the house ignored? ANY bill that passes the Senate IMMEDIATELY goes to the "idiot" in the White House?

Ladybug sez: "The proposal by Obama in june 2014 and the bill passed by the senate in july."

What proposal by Obama in June 2014 and what bill passed in July by the Senate? If the Senate passed it what in the heck is YOUR PROBLEM ladybug?

Ladybug sez: " Bohner and crowd threw their proposal on the table late Friday night and left ."

What proposal?

Ladybug, you seriously, can't sit there and pretend in your mind that ONLY Republicans left out for recess and the Democrats are still sitting there pouting and they are still there in the halls of congress working their fingers to the bone and gave us going out on recess? Come on seriously, do you? LOL

Obama is an "idiot".

Criminals are scumbags. Now the next time you bring this up as if you think this makes a point in your bid to never EVER have ANYTHING to defend Obama on, that should help you to know the difference.

response...I never thought I would see or hear bug call Obama a scum bag! Wow

Bug, there is one big problem with isolation. I'm going to quote something I posted almost 5 months ago on the Ukraine poll question.

In 1994, Ukraine surrendered its entire nuclear-weapons stockpile—the third largest in the world at the time—in exchange for security assurances from the United States, Britain, and Russia. The agreement called for the three nations to respect Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity, and prohibited them from the use or threat of force against the country.

How should we honor that? Especially after Russia has violated it.

Do we or do we not honor that agreement?

If we hadn't gone into Iraq would your answer be different?

I have a moral problem with circumstances/timing changing our position.

And what happens next?

he UK and US governments have warned Russia not to use humanitarian assistance as a pretext for sending troops into eastern Ukraine.

The UK Foreign Secretary, Philip Hammond, said, "I am deeply concerned by reports of an increased flow of heavy weapons crossing into Ukrainian sovereign territory from Russia and by reports of Russian armed forces exercising for a 'humanitarian intervention' in a third country."

And

Russian investigators have arrested five Ukrainian army officers, accusing them of using heavy weapons and killing civilians in their operations in Ukraine's Luhansk region.

They were among 400 Ukrainian soldiers who crossed the border to escape rebel fire on Sunday.

It is unclear on what grounds Russia can prosecute the officers, who reportedly deny the charges.

Putin himself won't go hungry any more than North Korean leaders have gone hungry while their people starved.

But costs are already going up for the average Russian. My guess is somehow ours will too.

My friend, ladybug...read carefully before you say anything.

WatchDog just may be correct...this could end badly as this administration continues to blunder through everything. The only people who are winning are those who are making bullets, etc. But if chicken prices go down, buy as much as you can before Obama smuggles them to Putin ( flexibility)?
