Salem splits doubleheader

SALEM – Salem split its doubleheader against St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday, winning the opener 4-3 while losing the second game 4-3 in eight innings.

Trace Jenkins went the distance in the win for the Quakers.

Jake Garner had the winning RBI single.

In the second game, Keaton O’Brien went 2-for-4 with two singles.

Salem (3-3) will visit Marlington on Tuesday.
