Salem outshines Carrollton

CARROLLTON-Salem guard D.J. Pullie hit two clutch free throw to tie the game with 0.9 seconds left then erupted with the first seven points in overtime and the Salem Quakers got a gritty 60-51 overtime win over Carrollton.

Pullie had the ball in his hands as time was winding down in regulation, faked a three-pointer before driving hard to the basket and drawing the foul. All 14 of his points were in the fourth quarter and overtime.

Also for the Quakers (2-3, 1-1 NBC), Max Wolfgang had 20 points and Mike Ciotti had 13 points. Tyler Krantz had 18 points for the Warriors.

Salem is at home against Struthers on Monday.
