Louisville stuns Salem with last second shot

LOUISVILLE-Jake Puckys hit a game-winning three-pointer with six seconds left as Louisville dropped Salem 52-49 on Tuesday.

Salem guard D.J. Pullie got an open shot with three seconds left but could not convert as the Quakers drop to 5-8 overall and 4-4 in the Northeastern Buckeye Conference. Louisville improves to 7-5, 5-3.

Pullie led Salem with 17 points, while Mike Ciotti and Ryan Hoover each scored 10 points.

Blake Hoover led Louisville with 24 points. Prior to his game-winner, Puckys had been scoreless.

Louisville won the jayvee game 34-26.

Salem will host Carrollton on Friday and West Branch on Saturday.
