Quakers edge Wildcats

CANTON – The Salem girls basketball team eked out a 29-28 win over Canton South on Wednesday. Tori Jones hit a pair of three-pointers to lead the Quakers with eight points, while Julia Dundon finished with five points. The Quakers entered the fourth quarter trailing by two, but had their highest scoring quarter of the night to rally back.

Salem also won the jayvee game 34-30. Kasey Jamison had nine points for the Quakers.
