Road trips planned for Salem, West Branch

WARREN – Salem and West Branch will both hit the road for their sectional openers after the Div. II sectional-district tournament draw on Sunday at Warren Harding High School.

The Quakers will travel to Southeast for a 7 p.m. tip on Feb. 26 in their sectional opener, while West Branch will be at Struthers for a game at the same time.

All sectional games are being played at the higher seed this season.

The district games are set for March 5 and 8 at Warren Harding High School which inherited the tournament after longtime host Boardman pulled out in the offseason.

Poland, Canfield, Cardinal Mooney and Ravenna are the top four seeds.
