South stops Salem

SALEM – Canton South used a big first quarter to set the stage for a 41-32 win over Salem on Monday in Northeastern Buckeye Conference action.

Senior night saw Quaker senior Megan Lehwald off with six points.

Julia Dundon led the Quaker scorers with nine points.

Emily Mitchell had 11 points for the Wildcats.

Canton South won the jayvee game 33-28. Salem’s Massey Jamison had 10 points.

Salem is set to visit Alliance on Wednesday.
