Warriors fall to Wildcats

STRUTHERS – Struthers used home court to its advantage as the Wildcats posted big first and fourth quarters in a 71-58 win over West Branch in a Div. II sectional opener on Wednesday at the Struthers Fieldhouse.

Ray-Quan Phifer had 20 points to lead the winners who will travel to rival and top seed Poland for the sectional final on Saturday. The winner of that game will advance to the Warren Harding district.

Jerian Thomas led the Warriors with 21 points. West Branch ends its campaign at 6-17. Dustin Greenawalt added 11 points.
