GOLF: Quakers downed by Leopards

SALEM – Louisville topped Salem, 189-238, in girls action at the Salem Golf Club on Monday.

For Louisville, Sierra Townsend whot a 42, Summer Walters 44, Bailey Spring 51 and Aubrey Leone 52.

For Salem, Courtney Halter had a 46, Megan Hoover 59, Sarai Bodine 59 and Marly Zeigler 74.

Sebring 201

COLUMBIANA – The Leetonia golf team improved to 6-2 with a 167-201 win over Sebring at Valley Golf Club on Monday.

Josh Faulkner led the Bears with a 37, followed by Hunter Smith 39, Corey Valentine 41 and Brandon Custer 50.

For Sebring, Joey Hollback had a 38, Brandon Dare 48, Kyle Youmans 53 and Connor Herbert and Collin Baia had 62s.

United 176,

Lisbon 181

NEW GARDEN – The United golf team got past Lisbon, 176-181, at Eagle Pass on Monday.

Leaders for the Eagles were Hayden Wilson with a 39, Caleb Berdine 40, Conner Higgins 47 and Mason Sanders 50.

For Lisbon, Avery Andric had a 37, James Cox 47, Marcus Nenichka 49 and Brandon Brownfield 51.

South Range 177, Crestview 196

BOARDMAN – South Range posted the top four scores Monday for a 177-196 win over Crestview at Mill Creek Golf Course.

Damon Brickley and Brycen James took top honors for the Raiders with 43s. Brooks Thomas followed with a 45 and Tom Roux 46.

For Crestview, Craig Landsberger had a 47, Kaden Davis 48, Taylor Coblentz 50 and Ryan Kost 51

South Range (3-3, 3-3 ITCL) will play at Jackson-Milton today.
