Salem girls fall to Carrollton

SALEM – Salem’s girls golf team dropped a 234-199 decision to Carrollton on Thursday at Salem Golf Club.

For Carrollton, Elizabeth Domer had a 46, Anna Truman 49, Olivia Albrecht 51 and Grace Bartlow 53.

For Salem, Courtney Halter posted a 44, Megan Hoover 50, Sarai Bodine 70 and Marly Zeigler 70.

Salem dropped a 194-247 decision to Louisville on Wednesday at Skyland Pines.

South Range 179,

Lisbon 190

GUILFORD LAKE – South Range tallied a 179-190 win over Lisbon on Thursday at Twin Springs.

For South Range, Tom Roux had a 43, Brooks Thomas 44, Damon Brickley 45 and Ryan Turnball 47.

For Lisbon (1-2), Avery Andric had a 41, Noah Barnes 48, Branson Brownfield 50 and Marcus Nenichka 51.

East Palestine 167, Crestview 189

COLUMBIANA – Ryen Kemp had a 38 to lead the East Palestine golf team to a 167-189 win over Crestview on Thursday at Copeland Hills.

Also for East Palestine, Phil Gerner had a 43, D.J. Bandy 42 and Andy Ellis 44.

For the Rebels, Taylor Coblentz had a 46, Craig Landsberger 46, Kaden Davis 48 and Ryan Kost 50.

Leetonia 177, Lowellville 210

COLUMBIANA – Leetonia’s golf team registered its first win of the season with a 177-210 over Lowellville on Thursday at Valley.

For the Bears, Josh Faulkner had a 39, Hunter Smith 42, Corey Valentine 46 and Dan Garlough 50.

Gino Fraticelli had a 39 for the Rockets.

Leetonia hosts Wellsville on Monday.

Columbiana 170, Jackson-Milton 174

LAKE MILTON – Columbiana picked up a big road win by topping Jackson-Milton 170-174 on Thursday at Lakeside Golf Course.

Columbiana (3-0) was led by Jared Wilson’s 39. Also for the Clippers, Bruce Wiggins had a 42, Joe Lucci 43 and Griffin Williams 46.

Nick Householder had a 39 to top the Bluejays, 2-2.
