Wilson leads Clipper golfers over Raiders
BOARDMAN – Four Columbiana golfers shot 43 or less for a 162-173 win over South Range on the Mill Creek South Course on Wednesday.
Jared Wilson led the Clippers with a 1-over-par 36 on the front nine. Also for the Clippers, Griffin Williams had a 41, Bruce Wiggins 42 and Joe Lucci 43.
Columbiana improves to 7-0 overall and in ITCL upper tier play, while South Range drops to 3-5.
For the Raiders, Preston Stitt had a 39, Tom Roux 41, Ryan Turnbull 45 and Dylan Rutledge 48.
South Range will play Lisbon on Tuesday.

COLUMBIANA – Josh Faulkner shot a 36 in leading Leetonia past Southern Local, 167-179, Wednesday at Valley.
Also for the Bears, Hunter Smith had a 39, Dan Garlough 45 and Brandon Custer 47.
For the Indians, Aaron Sevek had a 39, Jordan Myers 41, Mitch Hartline 47, and Justin Cameron and Drew Sevek each had 52s.
Leetonia (7-3) will play Lowellville at Bedford Trails on Tuesday. Southern Local 4-3.
East Palestine 160, United 194
NEW GARDEN – East Palestine had four players shoot 40 in leading the Bulldogs to a 160-194 win over United at Eagle Pass on Wednesday.
Andy Ellis, Phil Gerne, D.J. Bandy and Ryen Kemp all had 40s for the Bulldogs, who improved to 8-1.
For United (2-4), Hayden Wilson had a 40, Caleb Berdine 46, Mason Sanders 51 and Conner Higgins 57.
Both teams play today as East Palestine visits Springfield and United hosts Columbiana.

YOUNGSTOWN – The Columbiana girls improved to 6-0 by downing Youngstown Ursuline, 183-211, at Stambaugh Golf Course on Wednesday.
Leaders for the Clippers were Alexa Tringhese with a 42, Hannah Garofalo 46, Ally Moreschi 47 and Shannon Marshburn 48.
For Ursuline, Sydney Heinbaugh had a 44, Maddi Pomeroy 50, Abbe Love 54 and Maddison Stoneburner 63.
Columbiana will play Southeast at Valley today.
