Quakers fall to Leopards

SALEM – Louisville’s boys golf team continued its dominating run in the Northeastern Buckeye Conference with a 177-215 win over Salem on Wednesday at Salem Golf Club.

Dan Duplain led the Leopards (10-1, 9-1) with a 42.

Carrollton 192, Salem 216

CARROLLTON-The Salem girls golf team fell 192-216 to Carrollton Wednesday at Carroll Meadows.

For the Quakers, Courtney Halter led the way with a 49, Marly Zeigler 53, Sarai Bodine 55 and Megan Hoover 59.

Elizabeth Domer led Carrollton with a 44.

Columbiana 162, Springfield 206

COITSVILLE-The Columbiana golf team had no trouble with Springfield Wednesday, defeating the Tigers 162-206 at Bedford Trails.

For the Clippers, Joe Lucci led with a 37, Bruce Wiggens 38, Jared Wilson 41 and Griffin Williams 45.

The Tigers were led by a 50 from John Danks, while Corey Karabin, Tyler Horbert and Alex Grantonic all shot 52.

South Range 174,

East Palestine 175

BOARDMAN-The South Range golf team scraped by East Palestine 174-175 Wednesday at Mill Creek.

The Raiders (4-5) were led by a 40 from medalist Brooks Thomas, while Tom Roux had a 42, Preston Stitt 45 and Randy Skirpac 47.

For the Bulldogs (10-2) Andy Ellis shot a 42, D.J. Bandy 43, Phil Gerner 44 and Ryan Kemp 46.

W.Reserve 168, Southern 172

CALCUTTA-The Western Reserve golf team got a narrow 168-172 win over Southern Wednesday at Beaver Meadows.

For the Blue Devils (9-3, 7-3 ITCL lower tier) Nolan Snyder had a 35, Ethan Grim 39, Kyle Martin 46, Brandon Martin 48 and Alex Kirk 48.

For the Indians, Jordan Myers 39, Justin Cameron 42, Mitch Hartline 44 and Aron Sevek 47.

Jackson-Milton 167, Lisbon 179

NORTH JACKSON – Nick Householder’s 34 led Jackson-Milton to a 167-179 win over Lisbon on Wednesday at Lakeside.

Leading Lisbon was Avery Andric with a 39, Noah Barnes 43 and Branson Brownfield 45.

United 187, Crestview 191

EAST ROCHESTER-Hayden Wilson shot a 39 to lead the United golf team past Crestview 187-191 Wednesday at Eagle Pass.

Also for the Eagles, Caleb Berdine shot a 46, Isaiah Chestnut 50 and Mason Sanders 52.

For the Rebels, Kaden Davis had a 45, Craig Landsberger 47, Ryan Kost 49 and Taylor Coblentz 50.
