United powers past Lisbon
LISBON — United led throughout the second half and shot 8-of-10 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to beat Lisbon, 57-52, in Friday’s regular-season finale at Nace Gymnasium.
United improves to 13-9, while Lisbon moves to 14-8.
Kaden Smith led the Eagles with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Jake Clark added 12 points, Landon Baker 10 points, Dakota Hill seven rebounds and Parker Hydrick five steals.
The Eagles led 28-27 at halftime and held the Devils at bay the rest of the way.
Colin Sweeney topped the Blue Devils with 18 points and four steals. Justin Sweeney had 16 points, six rebounds and four assists, Noah Barnes scored 11 points and Seth Stokes grabbed six rebounds.
Lisbon won the junior varsity game, 41-30, behind 18 points from Michael Davis. Nathan Pytash had 11 points for the Eagles.

GARRETTSVILLE — West Branch let a 10-point halftime lead slip away as Garfield rallied for a 68-59 win in overtime Friday night.
The Warriors opened a 25-15 lead at halftime.
West Branch finishes the regular season at 9-13 and will open Division II sectional play at Hubbard at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
West Branch won the junior varsity game, 46-36.
Leetonia 53,
Campbell 45
CAMPBELL — Leetonia held off a late comeback attempt from Campbell Memorial to win 53-45 on Friday.
Roman Ferry led the Bears with a game-high 15 points. Danny McCool had 14 points, and Isaac Stecker added eight.
Eli McKaskil and Tequan Muhammad had seven points each for Campbell.
Leetonia will travel to Valley Christian in the sectional opener on Tuesday.

Jake Ford led the charge with a gamne-high 24 points, 18 coming in the second half. Frank Centofanti scored 13 of his 19 points in the first half. Brandon Walters aded 11 points and Cody Peterson had eight.
Noah Laster paced the Bluejays with 15 points, followed by John Voland with 12.
